This is a small app run by one student. There’s no support desk. Email uduanu.j@northeastern.edu and it reaches a person.

Somebody is bothering you

Block them. It’s in the menu on their profile, it works in both directions at once, they’re never told, and it removes any connection between you. Nothing they send can reach you again.

Report them as well if they did something that should be dealt with. The report is read by a person, the reason and detail help, and the person reported never finds out who sent it. You won’t get a reply about it, which is deliberate: a reply would confirm the report existed.

If somebody is in danger, Northeastern University Police is 617 373 3333 and emergency services are 911. This app isn’t the right tool for that and will always be slower.

You can’t get in

Signing up needs an @northeastern.edu address. Signing in afterwards doesn’t, so you keep the account after you graduate.

There’s no password reset in the app yet. If you’re locked out, email and it will be sorted by hand.

Your school isn’t in the list

The secondary school list is every public high school in the United States. If you went to school elsewhere, type the name and it’s added for you. It stays private to your profile until it has been checked, so it won’t show up in other people’s search straight away.

Search returns nobody

Usually because the app is new rather than because it’s broken. Search already falls back to close matches, so nothing at all means nobody here holds those tags yet. Save the search and you’ll be told the day somebody matching it joins.

Deleting your account

Email and it’s deleted, along with your messages, posts and tags. See the privacy page for what is stored in the first place.

What gets somebody removed

The house rules are six lines and take a minute to read. If what happened to you is on that list, say so in the email and it moves faster.
